  • KSR’s attention to detail is an engineering masterpiece. Anyone with a couple 100k laying around and wanting a top notch build, KSR should be your place to go.

  • Dude everything is so clean. Amazing the fit and finish! I love how you explain everything especially the cage cert. I've never understood the numbers b4 and now u literally drew us a picture (basically)... anyway that made it super clear!

  • I'm impressed by your fabrication and your sophisticated engineering skills. I have a question regarding your complex control and monitoring of the entire package from engine operation and tune, to the everyday drive ability control. I'm not doubting your ability at all quite the opposite. Are the Holley controls that robust and reliable ?

  • GEH5-D Kevin this sensor will work with a 12v power source and give you a 0-5v signal for humidity. The sensor part is also replaceable without having to replace the whole thing and is rated for outdoor environments from -40 to 120 deg F.

  • Let's just take a quick moment to realize what this man said: He wants a humidity sensor to aid in precisely calculating the density altitude to form the immaculate tune before every run at any track for peak efficiency... damn. Kevin, you better get at least half of all winnings that car takes home.

  • I started watching Cleetus years ago, and I've watched every Mullet vid of yours religiously. It's the first time I've seen a complete race car build in such detail--and I've watched every Mullet vid religiously. I suddenly realized during this vid that, for the first time, I'm going to understand the basics of all the systems y'all are talking about when you test, tune, race, and repair this amazing car over the years. You explain things so understandably and with such relish that you remind me of my favorite prof who, by his own strange and twisted love of differential equations, spawned and instilled in me an understanding and odd love of the same. You're doing the same for me with boosted race cars. Hats off to you, professor.

  • Hey Kevin what was that book you were looking at with the information for the cage certifications? In the midst of starting my own custom/speed shop and I have to be honest I haven't done much research as far as looking for resources on cage building. But I liked the way the book illustrated it. Was just hoping I could get a name or website for where I could get the book.

  • @KSR. I believe Marine NMEA 2000 devices should in theory be compatible with CANBUS, if you can pull data that way. Yacht Devices (yachtd.com) makes a 12v marine humidity sensor that outputs the environmental humidity PGN data to NMEA 2000, which you could splice into your own cable adapter to connect to a CANBUS input

  • I know a lot of people don't think about it but LED lighting is incredibly easy to work with and when you're fabbing up the entire car you could add a few little touches to get like a strip LED totally hidden but with bright indirect lighting inside and out. They run off 12v and are stupid cheap (~15ft for $7) or you could poke around and get the controllable, programmable stuff like the bosozoku Lambos in Tokoyo. This car will be a showpiece, essentially, might as well light it up! Them BALD EAGLES gotta know where to land!
