I don't want to listen Akash Chopra. It's just annoying listening him
Raunak kapoor is the worst kind of garbage humanity has ever witnessed....
When Rohit is in team.. his mere presence is enough for boys to get confidence
When rp keeps wicketes he bats well
Rahane deserves the man of the series. The way he hold the team together after the 1st test is remarkable. His captaincy and bowling changes were spot on. He took right decisions most of the time. And remember, his 100 at MCG actually started the turnaround.
Please replace Aakash Chopra, I can’t listen to him. Please get Bharat sundaresan or Harsha Bhogle! He doesn’t have the vocabulary or the diction to be part of this team!!! I am amazed that he makes it to this elite group!!
Bhogle is with cricbuzz rn
Loved this hour of informative cricket break down!!! 👌👏👍
I'm Glad that the Indian team showcased that it can achieve greatness under a CALM Leader like Ajinkya Rahane..No over the top histrionics and whimsical attitudes of a loudmouth who thankfully took paternity leave early on..the difference in captaincy couldn't be more stark...Sourav Ganguly and the BCCI Selectors should take close note of that..As for Ravi Shastri he does nothing but BS all the time...giving Virat credit for what was rightfully Rahane's effort is pathetic but not surprising from Shastri.
*Pujara tum sa na milega dobara😍*
@espncricinfo I have lot of respect for this platform for presenting intellectual stuff about cricket...but plz make yourself a favour by ostracising akash chopra from this platform...he is just rhetoric nothing else
Skip initial 5 minutes...its nothing but torture to hear chopra ...saved by hussey joining in middle
ajinkya rahane has never won a toss but india never lost a match in his captaincy
Huss saying they had to search a makeshift opener when Warner wasn't fit... what happened to your shield cricket ? Those many teams and no two guys to open in australia?
Akash chopra comparing boundary balls between the likes of cummins hazlewood and siraj and co is just meh.... does it mean you just have to rent something because you're wearing an expert tag?
I think Warner and smith are secretly happy about the loss. Paine under fire.
Virat should still be the test captain. he leads by example
@Rahul vijay Alistair Cook, David Warner, Kane Williamson, Virat Kohli (c), Steve Smith, Kumar Sangakkara, Ben Stokes, Ravi Ashwin, Dale Steyn, Stuart Broad, James Anderson. Look at the captain of the test team of the decade. virat has been the best test captain of the decade
@Rahul vijay split captaincy doesnt work at all
Rahane is the best choice...with due credit to Kohli...Rahane sets a template which helps the entire team express itself...Kohli is a megastar...just like Sachin, whose stardom overshadows the team... Ideal captains should be- Ajinkya Rahane-Test cricket Virat Kohli-ODI cricket Rohit Sharma -T20 cricket It is high time Indian cricket stops concentrating power in the hands of one individual....both when it comes to administration and captaincy....that way the team will be a sum of different parts ,when put together-expresses and wins in a phenomenal manner...biggest example being the current Australian sojourn.

I am also Privileged To See a Series Ball by Ball 🏏💯
in response to Huss (his comments around 7:30 or so) - as Dhoni has said, "he who panics last, wins"
The Days of Only Australia Comes to India to Win and India gives them close fight or win as major achievement and India Going to Australia only to Lose 3-0, 4-0 or may be one draw and couple of Individual Scores like Sachin 100 in Brett Lee Debut Match or Laxman 161 only to take back has to end and this series should lay rest to such statments in future too!!
Irony that nobody is talking about Shardul Thakur who should be man of the match as well with 70 runs and 7 wickets in this match. His innings along with Sundar changed the game.
Great to listen to Aakash Chopra - among very few ex cricketers who don't get too carried away and is honest at the same time. I can only image how him and Yuvraj have come online and ranked this win higher than their own personal achievements! just speaks about their own love for Indian cricket (not easy for ego filled crowd). It's people like him (ex high quality players) and their saner minds that Indian cricket grows the way it showed at Border Gavaskar Trophy
I like Akash chopra..good presentation..
Pujara Rahane are the gold dust India have which is under appreciated in the presence of mega stars like Kohli Rohit Sharma!! Hope we start acknowledging and appreciating them.🙏
Dekh gaba tera bhi ghamand tod diya re bahot itra raha tha
GF: Do I look fat? Me: 46:52
Where is Tom?
Aaaaaakash aaaaaamazing aaah.
Time for Paine to step aside. His captaincy was sub-par and so was his wicket-keeping, his batting only barely average. And he persisted with short-pitch rubbish against Gill and Pujara for hours while it clearly wasn't working. Great, great test series!!!
@ajoy sengupta Sure, kudos to him for rebuilding and stabilizing the team. But his captaincy lost them the last game, and his poor keeping cost them the third. And really? He isn't batting well because 2 of the top order are too good? Maybe that's why I didn't make runs at number 11, 4th division: too many good batsmen up the order. Sorry man, that's not convincing at all.
Nope he is the only one who took aus where they are standing now from that disaster in 2018. He should be getting a last chance. And as for batting, labushagne, Smith makes most the runs so he can't bat with so much time.
Way australia no tak Indian coch
A big slap to idiot Aussie journos and ex-players, they exemplified foolhardiness, what India achieved today is unbelievable, a moment to cherish in Indian cricket history...This would herald India's giant leap in Test Cricket...A big congrats to the Team, You have made us Proud!!!
Sky Chopra's playing 11 included Mayank, Prithvi as openers , No Shubman. You had no Pant, no Washington Now you are jumping on go the bandwagon, you hypocrat
Phenomenal victory. It cannot be emphasized enough how well India has played in this series post Adelaide. So many heroes. Pujara has been at the core of India's success in Sydney and Brisbane. Rahane was a champion in Melbourne. But this victory is so satisfying because the architects of this win were Gill, Pant, Siraj, Thakur, Sundar, and Natarajan. The bowling attack did a terrific job in bowling out Australia twice. Keep in mind that this 4 test experience bowling attack took all 10 wickets on day 4 when a full strength Australian bowling attack took only 7 on day 5. I definitely think India should consider a rotation policy with the fast bowlers, especially for home tests. India have enough quality in their reserves with Bumrah, Ishant, Shami, Umesh, Bhuvi, Thakur, Siraj, Saini, and Natarajan. I think Natarajan should talk to guys like Zaheer Khan and learn a few more tricks which I think he needs to be a key test player but he is a very promising prospect for ODI and T20I cricket. Saini I can't say much about. He bowled decently well in Sydney, particularly the second innings and was injured in Brisbane. I hope to see more to see where he can go. Siraj and Thakur were very impressive in this test, especially in the second innings. Obviously due to inexperience, they tend to give more boundary balls than Bumrah, Ishant, or Shami, but they will learn with time. Sundar could be invaluable if he continues to show batting and bowling prowess. I suspect we will see him play in Chennai against England as part of three spinner attack with Ashwin and Kuldeep. Bumrah and Ashwin's contributions should not be understated. Ashwin was the best spinner of the series by a distance. Has Smith in all sorts of trouble in the first couple of tests. Bumrah actually bowled even better than his figures suggest. Was a little unlucky with dropped catches at times. When it comes to batting, Gill and Pant are superstars for the future. I suspect Pant will be like Sehwag, more successful and consistent as a batsman in test matches then in limited overs cricket. He should work on his keeping and he will be the next Gilchrist. Gill looks really good. His side on technique might have some issues when the ball is swinging, so he should keep an eye on that, but I see big things for him. Words do not do justice to how important Pujara is to this team. The bedrock of India saving SCG and making the platform for Pant to launch for the win at the Gabba. The amount he tired out the Aussies is incalculable. I hope he does play faster in India. I suspect that he will given he has less pressure given more benign conditions and more batting security with Kohli behind him. Rohit looked in great touch. In 3 of 4 innings, he has given his wicket away. He needs to stop doing that because he's just too good to just be giving good starts. Rahane hit a career defining hundred. His consistency is still an issue but his captaincy was outstanding. Vihari's defiance at the SCG should not be forgotten. Prithvi Shaw needs to work out his technical issues in order to fight for a place back in the side. Mayank is someone I would stick with. He threw away a chance to be a hero today, but I think he's too talented to be let go just yet. I think the Australians need to do some soul searching. Certainly Starc's effectiveness as a test bowler needs to be questioned. I know he's a left armer and bowls with pace but if that isn't making an impact than it isn't really very useful. Lyon will probably be disappointed because he was largely ineffective. Hazelwood was exceptional in patches but innocuous in others, like today. Cummins was the standout performer of the Australian side. He kept running in and he never let up. He was by far the best bowler on display today and he deserves the MoS award. He's earned that number 1 ranking. The Australian batting is largely pretty ordinary. Steve Smith was exceptional in Sydney but India managed to keep him in line otherwise. Labuschagne was good, though fairly lucky in a few innings. But barring those two, there were no big knocks from any of the others. Paine batted pretty well, especially at Adelaide. Pucovski and Green had some sparks. But there wasn't enough heft in the batting, especially given they had a chance to bat first in three consecutive test matches, with Sydney and Brisbane being pretty good batting conditions. I think the unfortunate message has been sent out that if you keep Smith, Labuschagne, and Warner in control, the rest of the batting don't yet have the ability or consistency to score big runs. India did a good job, with Warner not doing much, Smith only succeeding in 3 innings with only one century, and Labuschagne also not getting any daddy hundreds. On top of that, India nullified Starc and Lyon, leaving Australia with only two effective bowlers.
I have to disagree with Akash. This Indian team didn’t win in Australia in 2018. This was their 3rd choice team winning in Australia this time. Well for a lot of the series it was. That’s what makes it even better. Well done India!! Respect from an English cricket fan.
Pant should play test & open in odi , t20 I am not bothered.
Is series me kya nahi hua yr...36 me all out, ek sath 9 khiladiyon ko chot lagna,ek bete ka baap ko khote huye bhi maidaan me datee rehna, sledging sehna, pujara ke uper attack hona , itna kuch hone sehne ke baad jeetna ,,wow yr... Ispe movie ban sakti hai...really inspiring🇮🇳🇮🇳
David slaying Goliath , this is how it should be described. Srilanka against South Africa & India match today were finest considering the team strength
Enjoyed match day and all the analysis from experts .well done ESPNcricinfo
Akash chopra was saying india should go for draw n bowl defensive on day 3 😇😇😇😇
Key point was apart from Adeliade Australian team failed to get 20 wickets in any of test matches...
What about Cameron Green???
The best headache for Indian team will be picking Gill ahead of Agrawal who has belted so many runs in home conditions ❤️😂
Mike hussey is greatest Australian player.... He was happy for india.... Nice to see... The humble character ive seen so far
😍
Who are 139 people who unliked this video
I forwarded everything except when Hussey was speaking. Hope they can get better quality Indian expert and host. Amazing job team India. Possibly the greatest test series win every!
England squad Rohit Gill Pujara Kohli Rahane Pant Jadeja/ sundar Ashwin Shardul/ siraj Shami Bumrah. Reserves K l rahul Mayank agarwal Umesh yadav Mohd siraj.
@Kaustubh Prabhudesai Axar can do so too. 2 offies make bowling too similar
@Shitposter Hunter true. But given the fact that Washington can contribute with bat too, india might b tempted to play him in 11..
Shami is injured, Ishant will play. He is a proven player. Jadeja is injured, they might play Axar as like for like. 2 off spinners make little sense. 3 spinners will be in XI so Kuldeep will play
Harsh on prithvi, ishant, natarajan, saini
India won 2 consecutive Test match series in Australia. I think no team has achieved this... This also might be an unique record...
Sa won 3 back to back 2008, 2012, 2016
Tell "Warne" to "FO"
Y bro??
Why's Tom Moody missing today? I know he predicted an Aussie win yesterday ;)
Well done "IND"
Short pitch bowling to Pujara was bodyline.. Something should be said about that. Team India will never complain but wasn't it undermining the famed Australian Sportsmanship?
Rahane hasn't won a single toss but he hasn't lost a single test as a captain ❤️💪
Shastri has lost his mind rather than giving credit to rahane giving it to kholi who left the team when team lost badly. Rahane stand tall and regroup the team and as a great captain with the available resources he generated immense performance .Hats off to my humble captain Rahane 🙏😀
It'll always be remembered as Rahane's team.
WHERE IS THE BOWLING BENCH STRENGTH,STARC CANT PLAY 4 TEST CONTINUOUSLY,YOU NEED 2-3 EXTRA BOWLERS.WHERE IS PATTINSON. AFTER SIDDLES RETIREMENT AUSSIES BOWLING IS ALSO GOING DOWN.
England should be scared, very very scared, Imgaine facing a full strength India in India 💪
Not MD shami( best bowler in Indian soil specially in 2nd innings), Umesh yadav( dengerous in Indian cndsn)..Isant is decent in India......bumrah 1st time in test in India...hope MD shami and Umesh will available from 3rd test
Only the timid and impish would have doubted India after 36. I am a Pakistani and watching almost every match with passion for 25 years and I have never doubted India since 2000. It is so strange how even Ramiz thinks 36 was a dent to their spirits. It never was for me since I knew the resilience and defiance of team India. The best side for a while now and Saurav Ganguly and MS Dhoni have changed the complexion of Indian team since late 1990's and 2000 onwards. They revolutionized the cricketing culture and brought elements of spirit and determination in team india. Superb captains and this current Indian team has taken up the legacy from them like no other. So I know those who were mocking team india after 36 were emotional freaks and being a Pakistani I was silent and knew they will roar back like lions. Love team India and Pakistan should just sit up and watch this performance. Do not hate them but take inspiration. Love cricket India.
@vijay handa I did purely since I am watching cricket and closely observing since 90's.They are coming from a process since 2000 onwards and they always bounce back and come harder after a one bad performance.I remember how VVS Laxman showed character in Calcutta after follow-on and how he did the unimaginable and this comeback mode has been in their streak always since. So I said to critics wait and watch them from here on in and I have no surprise at all since.
Very few people even from india gave India any chance after the unfortunate disaster. But some people like you had complete faith in Indian players.
Thanks Mate ...
Rishabh pant assault I liked that ngl....
Someone please interview Michael Vaughn...m really eager to hear or see what he has to say about this series win by our INDIA
Its was pant teror
Paine ka to kacha utar dia
Can someone make a webseries of this test series
With the injury replacements playing so well wonder what the 11 would look like for the england series considering most of their first choice players will be available by then
Someone needs to put a time stamp whn akash chopra speak..so that i can skip all that stuff 😁
Best analysis of the series so far 🙌🙌🙌
Words to describe, “Thrilla at the Gabba”!
Why Rohit in Test
Rahane's captaincy had a lot to do with the performance by India. He gives the players the freedom they need, never shows his anger or disappointment, and doesn't worry about "intent". If Kohli was there, he would have asked Pujara to play fast and with intent and probably stressed him up!
Chup chutiya matlab kuch bhi
@Ravishankar Chandrasekar yes leave them they r haters
@Nit Lover yes
You have no clue about cricket! If you are simply a hater, at least get your facts right!
Ghanta Pujara scored 521 in the series in Australia last time under Kohli in a similar manner😂😂
*A time when the cricketing world is fed up containing VIRAT KOHLI India produces SHUBMAN GILL. He is not the next big thing, he is already a big thing* .

All credits to sir RAHUL DRAVID for making young stars n Ajinkya Rahane for his good captaincy without star players
Virat kohli nahi chahiye captain.... Please drop him from all format... He behave as if he is fortress..... Wat abt Umesh wat abt sirj they were not needed.... U asshole koli... And dat pandiya.. Wat was performance in highest level... Kl Rahul... Chahal... Chutiya kohli
I THINK TWO INDIANS TEAM MUST PLAY INTERNATIONALLY AS OUR TALENT IS OVERFLOWING....❤️❤️❤️
Australia tour of South Africa is almost confirmed
@Shalini Balagopal 2 seperate teams will be picked
But i’m getting confused. Recently on the website i saw that Australia are supposed to play 5 t20is against New Zealand starting on 22nd Feb. But i also saw that South Africa tests start on 18th. So you have to wait before saing they are almost confirmed.
Whenever there is an Australian streak, they play India and they lose that streak. India has broken all their streaks. - 16 consecutive Test wins - 2001 in Kolkata & 2008 in Perth - First and only Asian side to win at WACA in 2008 - 19 consecutive ODI wins at home - 2016 in Sydney - 32 years unbeaten at Gabba between 1989 & 2020
@Mohammad Faisal Yippee. So true.
Add 2011 WC QF, Australia previously reached the finals 4 times
Huss was almost crying in this interview. His expression shows it
I am thinking what would have happened to the series had Bumrah, Shami, Jadeja, Kohli, Bhuvi, Ishant been there.
BUMRAH WILL BE REST,BHUVI IS FAR FROM INDIAN TEST TEAM NOW. ISHANT WILL DEFINATELY PLAYING THE 1ST TEST AGAINST ENGLAND. P XI = ROHIT GILL PUJARA KOHLI RAHANE PANT JADEJA ASHWIN ISHANT SIRAJ SHAMI BENCH = SHARDUL,SUNDAR,MAYANK,VIHARI,KL,SAHA,UMESH .
We are missing Tom Moody's reaction🤔
I still can't understand how we lose our no 1 Ranking without playing due to covid,I guess ordered restored.back being the best
no,the system of ranking was changed from no of series wins to percentage of testmatches wins.
@Mohammad Faisal yup u r rt, obviously not fare.but no problem after we beat England 4-0 we will get that no 1 ranking again which is rightfully ours.
@Bijay Messi I think they take last two years performance into consideration
@Mohammad Faisal FYI we were still no 1 after that series, check ur fact
Losing to NZ in Feb
Fun fact. Top two run scorer and top two wicket taker were from Australia but they still looses the series 2-1. This shows how good india as a unit is.
this is new india... in every walk of life
Cheteshwar pujara is LIVING LEGENG #PUJARA_LIVING_LEGEND
With all respect to Pant, Gill and Pujara, my man of the match was Shardul Thakur. His 67 in the first innings and 4 important wickets in 2nd innings had a huge say in India having a chance in this match.
3 wickets in first innings as well.
Shardul should have been the MOTM
@Chaitanya Kulkarni Exactly
Yes at 185/6 that was the most important partnership of the series
Shardul can be an all rounder he can drive go big bowl swing short and that to at 140 km/hr
@sita Jaisankar he will be very useful in English conditions
@Real Christian TV absolutely mate you just cannot drop someone after a performance like that
He need to be given more chances
What software and options do you use to live stream?
One answer to all your questions: Dravid. Because of the system he has set up and provided resources along with Dada, that I feel is one of the most prime reasons for such a spectacular turnaround. I mean sure there's nothing to take away from all the other reasons expounded in this hour, I think this is perhaps a point which was overlooked.
Pre Gabba: Tim Paine Post Gabba: Too much pain ps - see you at Gabba ;)
lol
Rahane's innings 24(22) was a statement. I love how Ajinkya Rahane the criminally underrated character was exposed in this series. Such incredible elegance to watch this man on the front. No howls, no over the top celebrations, his calmness itself is scary enough for the Aussies.
Turning point Washington sunder and shardul partnership first innings 186/6 to 336.. This setup the series
India not just won this series, they also made a point about the win in 2018 which is often understated with the excuse of Smith and Warner not being part of the team. With just TWO main players out, they lost at home to India. With just TWO players (Pujara and Rahane) staying from the start, India showed the world that cricket is a team game
@Rahul vijay 😂😂
@AB 18 lambuchand is the Hindi version of his name...easier to say and utter
@AB 18 lol
Now they also have Labbuuuuuuuushane 😂😂
Absolutely, I'm tired of hearing about Smith & Warner's absence in '18
Paine can't wait to see you in India 😊😉
Aussies are devastated 🔥
The greatest Test series win 🇮🇳🎉
F*ck THE TEST. Make a series off this test series. Epic comeback :)
Amazon prime series aayegi jaldi hi series ki
I would have loved to see the BTS of this series. That would be incredible.
I just skip the Akash's part all the Time 😂
Same
Akash is best Indian commentator
@Utkarsh Jain same
I want listen a Aussie See Aussie face after that
Same
Akash was absolutely sure we wouldn't win. He and cricketers of his era were plagued by self doubts, not these young cricketers who burst with self confidence.
stop the hate dude!! deep down no one thought India would win, calm down he makes good points if u listen properly to him.
Had india lost this game by a normal margin ...it would still have been okay. Even to last a whole day required strategy and spending time. Going for shots would have given more chances to lose wicket because of the pitch conditions. Which is why this win is even better.
Well deep inside at the end of Day 4, we all knew that winning by chasing 329 at Gabba is super duper difficult..that's what Akash also said...but that's why this is all the more special😘😘
Actually virat dividing the team sundar is better batsman than kohli
