  • Hey friends. Just a reminder that this is a very broad overview of a big topic. I could make a 12 part documentary series on just Saudi Arabia alone. But I hope this provides a broad understanding of how things have gone down in the region since the 30s. I encourage to go down the rabbit holes of parts of this that are interesting to you. There's so much more to learn about each of these events. Thanks for watching!

I love that the author doesn’t assume I have already some extensive knowledge, but rather makes interesting connections and gives funfacts through out the video. I feel like he helps me connect the dots. I love it ❤️❤️❤️

  • I’m Joaquin Czikk I live in Tel Aviv, Israel. Before you demonize me and accuse me of child killer and colonizer, I will give you some data. Anyone that wants to contact me, please reply this message and we can do a video call. Be careful to put the Palestinians as defenseless victims, they are supported by all the oil money in the world and 1 billion Muslims, which care less about human rights and more about reclaiming Jerusalem. This money supports a lot of journalists biased reporting against Israel, universities think thank that promotes the baseless idea that Israel is a colonial project, the rockets that Hamas fired at me two weeks ago and the palestianian ultimate objective (as stated by Hamas) which is to kill 7 million Jews. We offered the Arabs peace many times and their answer is always war, like when the state was created, terrorism after the Oslo accords and now rockets after we retired ourselves unilaterally from Gaza.

    • @Hassouss Le Poisson hezbollah has 120 thousand rockets, Hamas has 80 thousands rockets located 70 km from my home in Tel Aviv. In only 11 days of conflict they shoot 4000 rockets, in one barrage they shoot 120 rockets at the same time against my home in Tel Aviv! This are not poor victims but a very dangerous group! I hope that people like you have 120 rockets coming at you at the same time! Listening the buuuum from a bunker which I had 30 seconds to run to in the middle of the night while I was sleeping! They have the best iron dome in the world, which is stop shooting missiles at us and stop trying to destroy us and they will be 100% protected! Read the Hamas charter, they don’t want 2 states but to invade and kill all the Jews! We gave them Gaza and they transformed it into a terror state

      Joaquin CzikkJoaquin Czikk9 timmar sedan
    • Everyone can have a state except the Jewish people? The creation of Jewish state is an act of decolonization, and that’s why even if you think we are an imperial project, we are not leaving this place! Thousands of years of being persecuted all over the world because we were not in our land, and now that we have it and want to leave in peace with our neighbors, you come and say that my presence is illegitimate? There’s 22 Arab states and many more Muslim, what’s the issue of accepting only one that is not in a small piece of land? They pressure Israel to be the only country in the world that after receiving 4500 rockets against its territory, reacts by targeting Hamas sending warnings to civilians before hitting targets. If your accusation of Israel being a child killer were true, why on earth only 200 people died in the conflict when any other nation in the world would have completely wiped out an enemy that sends a whole country to its bunkers? (Deaths in civil war in Siria: hundreds of thousands. Are you so horrified about Assad victims?)

      Joaquin CzikkJoaquin Czikk9 timmar sedan
    • Why would they want peace? If someone walked into your home, apartment, whatever you live in and declared “This is my home now”, and gets the support of everyone in your apartment building, would you bend over and let him take your home?

  • If Israel were a colonial project, why on earth the Jews don’t have any state to come back to? Why you don’t take care about the million Jews that were expelled from the Muslims countries and now live in Israel? The problem is that for Muslims like you, all life’s except Israelis matter! And yeah, that’s called antisemitism

    • @543landonite 1.0 Israelis have an historical connection the land, after they were expelled they prayed for thousands of years to come back to the land. You can see the archeology, the Jews lived thousands of years there! The creation of Israel is an act of decolonization! And not only that, 1 million Jewish people were expelled from the Muslim countries, does Palestinians have to pay for the crimes of other Muslims? What is your solution? Destroying a country where 9 million people live right now? That invented from the cherry tomato to the Intel microprocessor, one of the leading world innovators and medicine developers? A country with a vibrant democracy, where right now Palestinian Arabs are part of the government coalition, where one Palestinian serves in the Supreme Court where there is not even one Jew left in any of the Muslims country? Each time we gave Palestinians land, the other Muslim countries supported them to attack Israel and we are not talking about Russia, but a country with the size of New Jersey! From the West Bank you can see Tel Aviv! A Palestinian state while Iran is present is equal to a death wish to Israel!

I believe that Europe drew to borders specifically to divide the people to make them easier to maintain control over. Sort of to "divide and conquer." I'm not saying that all the religious rites are completely their fault but they sure have done their part in creating 2 countries of people which were co-existing together since centuries. They led the base for it and history would never forgive them for this. No matter what they do.

So getting everyone involved was a great way of making it seem like a team effort, and most of their allies did it for their political image which might have worked out in the end(?)

So take pride in that. And if nations where 100% nice they would not be nations. Also Europe and the U.S never got rich or powerful from exploiting their colonies or neighbors. They got rich despite of their colonies. Europe did not get rich off exploitation that is a myth.

      Abir BansalAbir Bansal9 dagar sedan
    • @Abir Bansal but my argument is the colonies are not the reason Europe is wealthy. Europe has always been wealthy. Europe is not wealthy today because of exploiting colonies. In Africa’s case the U.K put more money into Africa then they ever got out of it. Yes Europe had colonies like every nation in human history. But exploiting colonies is not the reason Europe is wealthy. And Europe should not be ashamed of most of their colonization.

      Abir BansalAbir Bansal9 dagar sedan
    • @Someone New Fist off, Europe became incredibly weslthy die to the industrial revolution, which began in 1760. That's 360 years more than what you've said. This era was the same one where Britain has colonies, France had a new, strong Napoleon Bonaparte. Secondly, exploiting poor countries like Africa for labour and resources is how they made money, locomotives and roads. Don't know how blind one has to be to say that but, alright.

      Abir BansalAbir Bansal9 dagar sedan
    • @Abir Bansal Europe is rich today without colonies. They where rich before they had colonies. From 1400-2020, Europe is one of the richest places on earth. In that era it included pre- colonialization, colonization and decolonization. Europe did not get its wealth from exploitation. It has always been there.

  • Your story is cute, somewhat accurate. Like Lee Harvey Oswald being at the school book depository on November 22nd 1963 would be accurate. Osama was an asset of the intelligence agencies since he helped Brzezinski & the US fight off the Soviets in the Afghan Wars. His family Construction company also continued to build military bases & Covert Command centers all around the world. The US government actually flew Bid Laden family members out of Washington in military aircraft on 9/11. Its much more intimate than you led on.
